We are here for you

Times are tough right now. Covid has hit working people hard. Unemployment is rising fast. Work is hard to come by. Far too many people are struggling to make ends meet.

We know many of you may be worried about what the future holds. That’s why we wanted to reach out: to let you know that your GMB union branch is here to help.

If you’re facing problems at work, are at risk of losing your job or have an employer who’s not treating your fairly, we can offer practical guidance and dedicated support to fight your corner. We can help with any workplace issue including discrimination, discipline & dismissal, maternity leave, pay, holidays, pensions, redundancy and health & safety. We’ll always work hard for members and leave no stone unturned to get the best result for you.

Experienced branch reps can advise you, accompany you and help represent you in workplace disputes, grievances and redundancy processes. And this service is free to all members of the GMB.

If you want any advice or help, please do not hesitate to reach out to the branch president, Dave Levy or the branch secretary, Steve Forrest.  Dave can be reached by phone on 07894 539122 or by email on gmb@davelevy.info.  Steve can be reached by phone on 07498 877605 and by email on steve.forrest@gmbactivist.org.uk. [ Meet the team ]. Dave and Steve will help you with your case or will connect you with another colleague who can advise and support you. We describe how to approach our Regional Office in a this article, “Difficult Times”
